Favor is not just a one- time event.
“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.
Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from the Lord.” (Proverbs 8:32-35 WEB)
Proverbs 8:32-35 instructs us: to listen to God, keep His ways, hear God’s instruction and don’t refuse it, watch daily, and wait. And expect to obtain favor!
I desire to wake up each day expectantly waiting to hear from the Lord so I can follow His plan for me. Lord, my prayer is, what do You have for me, today?
May I encourage you to pray for God to reveal His plan for you, today.
Remember, Christ grew in wisdom and favor. Seeking wisdom is key.
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom.
(Proverbs 4:7 KJV)
But if any man among you is without wisdom, let him make his request to God, who gives freely to all … and it will be given to him. (James 1:5 BBE)
So, to gain wisdom, we need only to ask as we pray, as God gives wisdom freely to all who ask.
